I used the 45gr on wild pigs. I had complete pass through on even the 200lb sows with good damage to the vitals.

I have had the best reliability with a 10rd colt mag with the new grey, angular, anti-tilt follower. I also use an off brand carbon plain sided 5 round mag for hunting that works great. Hope this helps!

Any standard model mag. will work. The p-mags won't feed properly in my 204 AR.

wow... huh thats dissapointing. if they are turning out barrels in that twist you would think that they would know what that twist was designed to shoot.

The a-max should work fine if you don't hit the shoulder blade or shoot into the heart/lung area with anything other than a good broadside shot or front on shot.
