Re: WS2 Coated Bullets

Another good use for Danzac that I have found is to put a little dab on the sear surface of your trigger. I put some on my Cooper trigger and with not other adjustments it feels like a much better trigger. It may be in my mind, but it sure seems to pull easier. I just coated 200 17 cal Vmax and 100 ...

Just like jo191145 said this post and others in this forum is the best info for loading the 204 Ruger than you can find anywhere. Check some of the loads used here and reduce 10 to 20% and work up slowly and you should do just fine. Each rifle is different but I'm sure that you will find a load that...

I got out today and tried the N-133 in my Cooper 204. I started at 25.5 gr with the 39 Sierra and worked up to 26.8 gr at a tenth of a grain per group. I think my rifle likes also! It chronographed an avg of 3915 at 26.8 gr and I was shooting under a half inch 5 shot groups under less than stellar c...

Rodbolt-

Did you do anymore testing in other rifles with N-133? I am looking to try some load workup with it next week sometime with the 39 Sierra BK. Just curious if it performed as well in your other 204's.

I couldn't find any 8 lb jugs of N-133 so I ordered four 1 lb cans from Powder Valley. Will do some load testing with my Cooper 204 Ruger until my custom 20 PPC is built.

Sounds like you are on to something. I have been trying to locate some N-133 for awhile now, but so far no joy. I do have some N-135 and N-540 that I might give a try. But the N-133 stuff is very scarce around here....I guess the PPC shooters gobble it up when it becomes available.

I have a Cooper Phoenix in 204 Ruger that is doing the same thing as yours. I'm taking it to my smith Monday to have hime look at it and make recommendations. I measured new unfired WW brass at the place of the bulge and then the same brass once fired. Unfired it measured .370" and once fired ....

chasinElk I own a Cooper Phoenix in 204 and it is one of my favorite rifles. It shoots most all bullets under a half inch and the 39 Sierra usually if I do my part a quarter or better. The only one that it doesn't like is the 32 Vmax. But I admit that I haven't done much load work up with that bulle...

Hi All, Joined this forum today, and have to say that it will be one of my favorites. I stumbled on this site from a post over at 6mmBR.com as they have a 20 cal section. I'm retired and live in Wyoming so I do a lot of hunting, and one of my favorites is the prairie dog hunting. I ordered a Cooper ...
