Re: Opinions M700
Well I thought that it would be quite odd to run into pressure issues with factory ammo. Thanks, that's why I come here, alot of knowledge on this site.

Opinions M700
I have a M700 Cdl SF in 7mm Rem mag. I was going through some once fired casings both factory and hand loads and noticed some some irregularities. The primers have a ring around the firing pin indentation (cratering?) on both the factory and the hand loads. The case necks and shoulder areas have som...

Re: Scope upgrade?
The Leupold I'm considering is the VX-3 6.5-20x50mm Long Range Target. I will look into the vx2's as well as the EFR option as well.

Scope upgrade?
I'm thinking of upgrading the glass on my .204, I have a 4.5-14 nikon on it now which seems to work just fine however more magnification would be nice. I have a couple in mind, the Leupold VX3 in 6-20 and the Zeiss conquest with the same mag. range. Any opinions guys, reviews are giving the Zeiss a ...

Re: Ballistic plex
What u can do and it's just a suggestion is to sight it in dead on @100yds at 9 power or whatever with the center crosshare , back up to 200yds and shoot using the same center crosshare. Now hold the center crosshare on the aiming point of the target and adjust your magnification until the first mil...

Re: A Decent Day
Caught a pair out mid afternoon on Friday on our way to town for groceries, suprisingly they were still out several hours later on our way home, game on. Snuck in and set up on them and within 5mins one came in, 75 yards but no clean shot (hills). Hoping it would crest the next hill I waited, and wa...

Re: A Decent Day
Nice job! If you don't mind saying, what do you routinely start calling with? A buddy and myself are just trying to learn how to get em. We've gone to spots where we know there are coyotes but we can't get em to come in. We've heard em barking and such but now luck even seeing em. Of course, I see ...

Re: A Decent Day
Well I'll try and type this out again, what the heck. I set up in a large pasture area with some willow bushes throughout, good fenceline cover and some excellent sign. About 20mins into the set with no sightings I decided to sit quiet for 10 before leaving and sure enough here comes one about a 1/2...

A Decent Day
Pretty amazing day, called and shot 3 yotes and missed a fourth in the same pasture. Longest 295yds, 32grVmax. Had the story written out twice, lost it both times piss on it! http://i1082.photobucket.com/albums/j364/kjw_pics/Winter%202012/19-02-12_1033.jpg http://i1082.photobucket.com/albums/j364/kj...

Re: Help...204 issues
Well I'll be honest I would never have thought that a grand on a rifle should get you something of mediocre quality, I have two #1's in 25-06 from the 70's mind you, and they shoot great. I had a prohunter in 204 before I got this rifle and it never lived up to my expectations, sold it and won't buy...

Re: Help...204 issues
Are some barrels more succeptable to fouling than others? I have the same rig as tony and find it fouls excessively. I have had some group consistancy but never POI shift. For instance I posted a target I shot with the 35g bergers that printed @ .361 I believe. That same session I shot a 3 shot grou...

Re: M77 Varmint vs Fox
Ya it was messed up pretty bad, the side and the bottom was blown right out the guts were hanging out. I had hoped it could be repaired but I was told not. Too bad, his fur (what was left) was really nice. I usually don't shoot the foxes, they're good to have around (here anyway). Their numbers are ...

Re: M77 Varmint vs Fox
Well as I said I would give the 35gr bergers a try, shot pretty nicely for being a little cool out off the tailgate of my truck.
