Re: Where Are The 17 Hornet Rifles ?
I had the same problem. Went west last year. I hoped to find a .17 CZ rifle on the way. I stopped at numerous gun shops but found none. I did find Hornady dies and several boxes of factory loads. I returned home and my son told me to stop by at a small gun shop in a barn about 15 miles away just to ...

Re: 204 brass
I just returned from a trip to Wyoming. I checked many sporting goods stores for 204 brass. I found one bag of 100 Winchesters and a box of 25 Norma.
I also found a second box of Norma but did not buy it because it was $26.95. Rifles were in short supply too.

Re: Cooper 38 extractor
Cooper turned the bolt around in one day. Great customer service. It is on its way back to me now.

Re: Bow Shot, time for a road trip to East Rochester!!
Do they have any hornet or 204 brass up your way? We have a few BR4 primers down here in Elmira too. They are getting $50 for a brick. I have not been to Rochester for a while.

Re: Cooper 38 extractor
I just received an email from Cooper. There are apparently 4 different versions of the M38 bolt. They requested that I send the bolt back to them.

Re: Cooper 38 extractor
Bill: I ordered the spring by email before I looked at the bolt to see how to remove the extractor. I guess I assumed that it would be held in by a pin like Remington. I did reply to the email confirming shipping the spring by Cooper with a request for instructions. I thought that with all the Coope...

Cooper 38 extractor
I believe that I have a broken extractor spring in my Cooper 38 17AH. I ordered the spring from Cooper. Does anyone have a diagram of the Cooper 38 bolt? I do not see any way to take the old extractor out.

Re: 204 brass
Thanks for the reply. I took your advice and bought a box of Hornady brass. The dealer received them this morning. I heard that Hornady brass was not very good so I hesitated to buy it. I checked the length and all were within .002. The necks measured .010 all around, thinner than Federal, Remington...

204 brass
I know this has been asked many times before but I am looking for some brass for my new Cooper .204. We only have one small shop in town and he specializes in shotguns, trap, etc. He has brass on order but has not seen any for months. I have also driven to every gun shop I know of within 100 miles a...

Re: new .204
No. The dealer was Gieser in Sunbury. Grice is who I called for the Kimber. I have dealt with Grice many times in the past.

new .204
The wife and I got up early and headed south into PA to expand my never ending quest to locate a .204. The first store I stopped at had a Savage model 11 but I wanted a heavy barrel. Several stores later produced a used Savage heavy barrel with a flimsy Tupperware stock. I assumed that this was the ...
