The heavier spring got rid of my cratering problem. The factory spring was kind of weak so it was a big improvement for my rifle. Others mileage may vary, in the past i haven't had problems with any of my savage's so it doesn't necessarily affect all of them.

There are many factors that can have an impact on this: is this a factory chamber or a custom, how hot are you loading it, etc.... if the brass won't chamber after full length sizing I would say you have an excessively oversized chamber most likely. If it was me I would scrap that brass and start over with new, of course you might ask Cooper to pay for replacing the brass as well.
