Re: Ballistic Plex recticle
I was at the range yesterday, and using my sight in at 300yds (1" high),I used 1.8 mil dots for 400 yds and shot over the target,so disregard ,my previous reply, about setting up drop aiming points ,to measure the number of mills needed for additional yardage.THAT MAY WORK WITH A SCOPE THAT HAS T...

Re: Lyman® 1200 DPS 3 Digital Powder System
I load on that powder dispensor, and have found it to be very accurate with all powders.I've loaded over 5000 rounds.I like the auto dispense, when you return the pan, because I am seating bullets as I go.No loading blocks involved.Empty primed case comes out of a plastic bowl/veggi container, pour powd...

Re: Ballistic Plex recticle
http://www.burrisoptics.com/scopespecs2.html Here's the page from the Burris web site, that may help.I picked my bullets, which were Sie 6mm 95MK and Sie 6mm 70gr BK,called Sierra, gave them the MV and sight in @ 300yds.They computed the trajectory @ 50 yd intervals to 1000yds.I have a mil dot,and want...

Re: Bullet Comparators
http://www.sinclairintl.com/.aspx/pid=34014/Product/Sinclair_Insert_Style_Bullet_Comparator I bought the insert type because one hex type did not cover the two calibers I load,(20 & 6mm).Also the insert body takes the shoulder inserts to check set back, when adjusting your dies.Works best with an...

Re: hi guys new member needing some info on the 204.
I believe that powder is too fast for the 204r.Accurate 2230 is listed for good velocity and pressure.IMR 8208 XBR will get over 4000fps for the 32gr Sie and 3750fps for the 39gr,with good accuracy and low pressure(acceptable).I use Rem 71/2 primers,a friend likes Fed BR primers.

Re: hi guys new member needing some info on the 204.
Welcome Jamie Sounds like a perfect build, for the 204r.I'm assuming a heavy varmit barrel.I understand the 3 grove barrels clean up easier, and shoot as well as the 5 & 6 grove. It may shoot the 40sbut if it shoots the Sie 39 BKs you'll still have the same big smile on your face.Keep us posted.Man...

Re: First time using dry lube
With Imperial wax a little does go a long way. That's why more, didn't make any difference.I use it for body and shoulder sizing.I tried the Imperial case neck lube, with questionable results.Motor Mica powder, with some #9 shot in a container, seems to work better, and you can see just how far your sizi...

Re: Ackley???
A guy over on VHA has a 204AI.He has about all his calibers in AI.To me,it wouldn't seem to offer much in a 204 with a 30deg shoulder already, but he likes it,and it performs well.

Re: primer pocket problems
Well it's confirmed. My WW brass primer pockets are too tight. I tried another lot of WW brass and the primers seated just fine. I am trying to contact Winchester and I cannot find their customer service number anywhere on their website. Annoying!!! Does anyone have their contact info???? Got me to...

Re: primer pocket problems
WW brass and WW primers, should not be giving you this problem. If you have diferent primers, other than Federal, which run slightly larger, measure them ,write it down, and try them.Call winchester about the problem, have the brass lot # available.Meanwhile you may try champhering the primer pocket slight...

http://www.sinclairintl.com/.aspx/sid=65732/sku/FORSTER_Graphiter Midway also has these small dry powder boxes with sized brushes.I use Motor Mica (white powder),but always brush the inside of the neck, unless you clean cases before every loading. Do you measure your fired cases, then measure again af...

Re: bulge shoulder
http://www.sinclairintl.com/.aspx/sid=66444/sku/Carbide_28_Degree_Cutter With flat bases bullets the 28deg champhering tool makes the seating much easier.Your necks may be sized too tight.Your FL sizing die should be cleaned and checked.Clean and lube the inside of the cartridge neck with dry lubric...
