Re: low velocity loads

Use Trail Boss, It's the absolute best for reduced loads:

Re: Help - Serious pressure and ruined my bolt

Looking for a little help. Here is some info: I use a Lee collet die to neck size only, what if I did not get the neck tight enough and when feeding the round into the chamber the bullet is pushed back into the case. Would this cause this problem? Any insight would be great. Yes, This will do it.

Re: .17 REM. / .17FB / .17 Mach IV

Any input on choosing one over the others? Looking for squirrel/crow gun good to 250 yards. Most likely in a Cooper. No consideration for factory ammunition. Much consideration for efficiency and accuracy. Have also (somewhat) thought about the Calhoon .19's. Any and all feed back appreciated. Than...

Re: Need Help again.

Now, back to the recipe... Butterfly that back strap and soak it in Coke (the soda) overnight. The next day, pull it out of the marinade, season with your favorite steak seasoning and put crumbled Feta on one side of the back strap where you made the butterfly cut. Then close the meat back up and s...

Re: Coated bullets

Is anyone using coated bullets in their .204? I have some moly and tungsten disulphide (aka Danzac) and wonder how they perform. Have you noticed less cleaning required/lower pressures/accuracy improvement etc. Yes to all three :) We use only Moly coated bullets in all our rifles now...30.06, .243,...

Re: grouping worsens as scope power increases?

It's called Parallax, or the lack there of. With a .22 at 50 yards and a Simmons that is parallax corrected for 100yards, the more you increase the power, the worse your groups will be. Most of your 4x scopes (.22 cal scopes) are set for 50 yards parallax, and will perform very well at that distanc...

Re: 32 gr Hornady ammo

Anyone have a good source for bulk (500-600 rounds) 32 gr Hornady ammo? I could live with 40 gr Hornady ammo if I needed to, as well. So far, the best price I've seen is a bit over $14/box plus shipping. Thanks, Mike Try looking here: http://www.204ruger.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=7727 :D

Re: SAVED $1300 ON A COOPER!

Sorry Lane, the handle is on the wrong side for me! OK how bout this..... Well, I've heard that CZ actually makes a left handed rifle. Maybe not in a 17 Rem but you could buy a right handed 17 Rem CZ and a .204 left handed CZ, and swap the barrels, then sell the new right handed CZ. :chin:
