Re: Shooting Advice and Technique
I have had similar experiences where I could just not understand how I missed shots. I know the gun and have faith in our capability to make the shot and nothing happened. I have convinced myself that I have hit twigs early in the bullets flight. This was from shooting prone with a bipod. The shots ...

Re: Super accurate factory 204? Your opinions?
I believe that a Tikka or CZ 204 would fill the bill for you. Both are very accurate rifles and both have easily adjustable triggers. I have heard good things about Savage accuracy, but have no personal experience. I recently purchased a CZ 527 American in 204 Ruger and it is extremely accurate. I h...

Re: 204 case trimming preferences
Thanks to all!
I have gleaned good info and will make an informed decision now.
I might have to wait for my next paycheck to justify it though.
I will do my best to keep trim in 2010!

Re: 204 case trimming preferences
I looked at their site and it didn't look like 204 Ruger was supported. I might get one for my .223 Bushmaster Varminter though.acloco wrote:Might consider a "Possum Hollow" case trimmer as well.....if you have a LOT of cases to do.

Re: 204 case trimming preferences
You are both confirming my direction... I bought the Forster BR dies and was considering the Forster case trimmer. Found this on Midway. Is this what you would recommend? I don't want to buy the wrong one. The description does not indicate that you could optionally use a cordless drill on the unit. ...

For a quick less detailed view using Hornady factory ammo you can look here :
http://www.hornady.com/store/204-Ruger/
Click on see details, then velocity, energy and bullet drop will be available (assumes 200 yard zero).

204 case trimming preferences
What do most people on this site use for trimming cases on their 204s? I have been getting by with using the Lee hand trimmers for all my other calibers, but haven't seen the 204 Lee hand trimmer available. I won't be doing any high volume trimmer usage and I have .224, .277, .284 and .308 cals as w...
