Hey guys, for Christmas I got pretty much everything I need to reload. I finally got it all set up and am to the point to start throwing powder and seating bullets. So I set my redding competition die to seat 2.25 (which is fantacstic die), then I remembered to set up a dummy round to find a more op...

Re: .204 sighting in distance
when I sight mine it it will be at 200, and they make a drop chart by 50s from 50 to 400. This is what I would like to do anyway, I may find in the field it may not work as good as I plan in my head =)

Re: Nightforce turret Question
Yes I need to try that. I noticed it when I got home. anyway my windage knob is very positive, I can feel and hear every click. My elevation is neither, its just like turning a screw. If not for the marks I would have no way to know how far I moved it. I read somewhere that it may have to do with no...

Re: Whats your Work Up Method
thanks for your help, what base and rings did you pick to mount the NF? Hopefully in about a week I can say Savage 12 VLP Left hand + NF 5.5-22 = P-dog Explosion. Anyway I priced the gun in many places and only found two that could order it, one that wanted close to MSRP, and then got it bought toda...

Re: Whats your Work Up Method

I want to buy a Savage 12 vlp,($1021 msrp) only found 2 places in 50 miles of where I live that can get it, one wants MSRP, the ohter is a Savage Dealer, I have not got a price from him yet, but Im confident his will be...

Whats your Work Up Method
I asked this question on a different forum and got some good info but never hurts to gather more. As I get closer to actually doing this, I have been thinking about how I would do it. If you were to follow the scientific method you would only change one component at a time (as in have all things the...

I have a question but I dont want to open up a can of worms! I think it will be fine so here we go. As im ever closer to getting my .204 I wonder what is your kill range on prairie dogs? For you guys that have your pet loads in the gun, know the state of your gun/scope, and personal shooting skills,...

Re: Pdog/Varmint Scope
Thanks guys, I have only looked through high dollar scopes once, and on the day I did, the vx3 i looked through was what I liked the least. Perhaps I need to give it another try. I have never looked through a nightforce but plan to soon. Jim I have seen many of the scopes you mentioned and liked thi...
