Re: 204 Ruger AR barrel

Glad to hear the good reports on WOA. I've been recommended them on my first AR build and always appreciate additional insight. Did you guys buy yours direct from WOA or is there a better place to purchase?

Re: Issue Sighting in .204

I've done that myself more than once. Loose action screws, loose ring screws, loose screw between the ears. They all seem to make for a frustrating day but once you figure it out, it takes a whole lot of stress off your shoulders. Well done on getting it sorted out.

Re: Savage B Mag in 17 wsm

There was one here for sale locally that I had some interest in but the poor reviews steered me away. It's not a need round for me with a 17HMR and 17Fireball in tow, but I hate to see something that can be new and exciting not done very well.

Where in Northern IL are you? I'm in the McHenry area.

Re: Opionions on .22 Hornet

They're fun to shoot, although I never saw the laser accuracy with them I did out of other calibers. Just about no pop to them, low recoil, low noise. I had an older CZ that did not like to single feed, my new one in maple has no problem with it. This is a pick before I changed the scope. I was told...

Prayers for a speedy and healthy recovery. Hate to see someone down and out and in the hospital, especially this time of the year when they should be at home spending time with loved ones and family.

Re: Recommend me a tumbler!

Rotary tumbler with SS pins here too. Always amazed at how clean brass comes out. I found some brass that had been buried in the dirt for lord knows how long while PD hunting one year. Threw it in the Thumlers and after a bit it came out looking like new. I have a pretty good system setup and just l...

Re: Loading for cz 527 in 204 ruger

I've had good luck with Berger 35 gr bullets and I think I was using BL-C(2) and/or RL-10x in my CZ 527 Varmint.

Hi russ2far, I am pretty sure I have a bunch of brand new Winchester 222 brass at home.

Let me check later today or tomorrow and I will let you know.

Re: FLIERS ????

I remember shooting with a fella who seemed to scrub his barrel all night in a hotel room trying to chase out the black patches his barrel kept producing. One can only assume it was built up carbon and I don't know that patch out was really helping with the issue. He might have been using a differen...
