This funny and serious - The Coyote Problem
Coffee Warning - I am not responsible if you spray your computer while reading the last paragraph. THE COYOTE PROBLEM: a true story The Sierra Club and the U.S. Forest Service were presenting an alternative to a group of Wyoming ranchers for controlling the coyote population. It seems that after ye...

Re: How many rounds?
From all the reading I have done now on this cartridge, I know I'm going to need another one as I will want a bolt gun for sure
but that will have to wait for now.

Re: First day with H&R ultra varmint 204, a little disappointing
doninva - I don't have the Ultra Varmint in 204 but have the regular 22" 204 barrel for my Handi Rifle. If this were brand new, I would be going down the bore with JB bore cleaner before even firing it, just as I did with my 7mm-08 barrel. That pasty stuff works for getting out any imprefection...

Re: REMEY VLS .204
JB,....You live in the home land of Kimber. There are quite a few Kimber shooters on this forum. They say... for the extra dollars it is more gun for the money over a Savage. I happen to like the average man's rifle known as Savage. Could be a Kimber in .204 Ruger might be in your future? Ah...

Re: REMEY VLS .204
After I see what my new barrel does in the H&R Handi Rifle with its 12 twist barrel, I probably will be considering a bolt action rifle as a new addition to my currently growing collection  I will be looking at a Savage for sure, with its accu-trigger with good optics for long range work as...

Re: Shooting Stool
The swivel seat is nice, but not needed at a bench. The 7 gallon baseball bucket is taller than the 5 (by 3-5 inches), and a more comfortable sitting height for most bench shooters. Save the 15.99....... Yep, did not see that yours was 7 gal bucket, that does sit higher and I have a few around here...

I'm gonna have to try the continuous shooting of my still shots with my JVC HD digital video camera, and try this when I get out with my .204. Great shots, loved it....![Twisted Evil ](./images/smilies/icon_twisted.gif)

I truly can not wait to enter some pics of those taken with the .204, and will be working on some loads soon as I have reloading dies and brass on the way. BTW - my son told me, "Dad you should have seen that yote do a summer salt in the air when ya hit it." To this day, he still tal...
