Re: Citibank Refuses to Issue Credit to Gun Parts Makers
Money talks. Watched "Food Inc." a while back. Those who haven't seen it may find it thought provoking. They showed the impact shoppers have on large corporations. Even Wal-Mart started stocking organic foods when they realized they were missing out on $. ( Wasn't from them suddenly gettin...

Re: Citibank Refuses to Issue Credit to Gun Parts Makers
Just when I started to cool down, ran across more info on http://www.shootingwire.com/ The following is a snapshot of the article. The Politics of Credit The Warne Scope Mounts Company of Oregon was doing business - the manufacture of scope mounts and components thereof. While in the process of doin...

Citibank Refuses to Issue Credit to Gun Parts Makers
Ran across this article on http://bulletin.accurateshooter.com/ . Not sure where to post such topics or if you'd rather not get something started. Seems they have established themselves as another bank that needs to be put out of business IMHO. Kinda aggravates me, thought I would just throw it out ...

Re: Who Needs a 26" Barrel?
Seems to me... :chin: now I may be all washed up...but by the looks of that data the 21 inch barrel has the lowest fps spread. Thought the best length would be one most consistent. My rule of thumb leaned to 21 inch barrels for short case and 23 for long case length cartridges. Lot of other factors ...

Re: Who Needs a 26" Barrel?
Man that's a nice set-up. Have a bad case of gun envy here. Noticed a while ago it takes a 200 yard group to get the proper scope settings..least for me. Seems I am forever one click off. Yea, I know, that's probably what the kids think too. Wondered where the 100 yard rule of thumb for groups came ...

Re: Pics of .204 AR's
Thanks for the help with the pic Buglemintoday. :D Hope I'm not violating rules by throwing a bunch of info in here. :( All you moderator types feel free to toss this in the recycle bin or move it if needed. (kinda new to all this posting on the internet forums stuff) As for the accessories. Well it...

Re: Traveling Down The AR Road
I have to agree with you there. The Burris AR-P.E.P.R. scope mount looks nice. Had a set of lower mounts on it that drove me nuts when I would pull it up. Would prefer the scope lower and more drop in the stock. Not sure why the disparity is built in. Figure the flat tops should have a different sto...

Re: Rifle Review:.458 SOCOM
So what are his thoughts on it? Seems like it would be a good bear gun. For close up stuff anyway. With all those guns I would have a heck of a time picking which one to shoot every time I headed out the door. Have enough trouble as it is. Did you get a chance to shoot it?

Rifle Review:.458 SOCOM
Thought this was interesting. Would spur plenty to talk about around the camp fire. Not much in the way of a varmint gun, err ahh, then again that would depend on what kind of varmints a person was hunting. :D Heck of a bear gun though! http://www.military.com/entertainment/outdoor-guide/ar-hunting/...

Don't have any yet but have numerous friends that do and rave about em. Never heard anything but good reports about em. I am still pondering which excuse to use to sell the idea to my wife or I would have several.

Lets have a look at that 30-06! You have everyones attention, might be able to give ya some quick fix or pointers on turning that baby into a sniper rifle. :D Got my curiosity up. Don't give up on it yet. Post us an UGLY picture...I had one that was a hand-me-down a friend was ready to throw away. I...

Re: Traveling Down The AR Road
SWEET! Wish I could spring for that scope. Awesome gun pics I have found the down fall of an AR.. :? There is no end to the amount of accessories a person can attach to these things!!! (To my dear wifes consternation) The only miserable part of my DPMS was the trigger and had the local gunsmith chan...
