hi woody , i recently aquired a savage 12 , 204 with 1 in 12 twist . it didn't like 39 gr sierras , it was marginal with 32 gr hornadys , what it did love was 35 gr bergers . i tried 748 powder , blc2 , 335 and 10x . it seemed to like the 10x over the others . hope this helps , and enjoy your new to...

i sighted in a 35 gr berger ( not chronoed ) 25.2 grs of 10x , at 200 yds it is 3/4'' high and at 300yds it is 5 1/4'' low . these numbers have been repeatable . i have to take a wild guess that my velocity is around 3800 fps .

its half time of the football game and i was sitting there helping my wife fold cloths up and low and behold there is a dryer sheet. now its not that i'm too cheap to buy an aluminum funnell , but i am too cheap :lol: . so i took it downstairs and rubbed the plastic funnel with it ( inside and out ...
