i have been studying the favorite loads info , i have noticed that very few people use berger 35 gr bullets and very few use ww 740 powder and very few use cci sm. rif mag primers . am i looking in the wrong direction ? :huh: some one will probably say that ww740 is to slow of a burn rate , then why...

glen , glad to hear you and the wife are ok . now i would venture to say that maybe you ought to look into driving a kenworth or something on that order . the kenworths kinetic energy and ballistic coeficent are much higher :wtg:

thanks for the reply glen , its hard to sift out the bull from the real deal .
by the way , i have a friend that lives down there by you and he keeps trying to talk me down there , says there is a club he shoots at that we can shoot out to ( i think ) 600 yds .this spring i may take him up on it .

got question on the effective range of a 204 . i have been talking to a couple of guys who own 204's . i asked how they were on woodchucks ( i live in ohio ) and the one guy never used his on chucks just out west hunting skippey's and he said it is now his favorite cal and he was shooting out to 400...

thanks for tweeking my mind about a savage . i was on their web site looking at a mod. 12 fs , this is still a little heavier than a walking gun but just might fill the ticket . i'll have to go back and look at the mod. 11 mentioned by a couple of you guys . thanks for the info , dan
