Re: a few dogs on our way through Wyoming.
Yes...it is comforting to know that there is other people who take great enjoyment out of guts on the powerlines. I live in Northwest CO about thirty miles from southern wyoming, spend a great deal of time killing P-dogs, there is really no such think as a shortage...ran out of ammo today...well ove...

Shiney new .204 (do not view after eating)
I traded in my H&R Ultra Varmiter and got a Savage 12 with a 26" tube, early indications killing paper told me it was going to be a laser beam, but in the field it is a weapon of mass destruction. I still need to work up a load, I have been burning up all my loads I had for the H&R, any...

In the apex of our Skippy killing season, I finally get around to posting some pics, The .204 is my go to gun, but when faced with situations around houses and livestock, the .17HMR shines like the morning sun. It is a Savage 93R, I have dubbed it the "Laser Beam". Today was the typical No...

Re: First day with H&R ultra varmint 204, a little disappointing
I am currently shoot the H&R ultra varmit in the .204, the loads I started with are 39gr BK, with 25 grain imr 3031 at about 3800fps shooting in the low .5 groups, I am thinking overall length 2.30 using the CCI 450 primers. Trigger and the washer is the ultimate fix for these guns. I am also sh...

Fall PD hunting Northern Colorado (GRAFIC PICS)
Thought I would share some pics of my Monday. I live in Northern Colorado and our days our numbered till the snow flys. I am using a H&R Handi in a .204 with a Osprey Scope. The Hornaday 40gr Vmax wrecks dogs. The other gun in the pic is a Magnum Research in .17HMR. http://i279.photobucket.com/a...
