Re: Super accurate factory 204? Your opinions?
I have two Savage 204's that shoot Factory Hornady 40 grainers between .3 and .4 at 100 yards, consintently. These Savages are more comptent than I am at my age (65). Know some people on here call them sheet metal pieces of junk, but I truly don't beleive that I (myself) could shoot a Cooper any mor...

Question for Captqc, or other Remy shooters
Captqc, are you shooting a factory trigger in your Remy 204, or is it an after market trigger? What is the trigger pull?

Re: How many rounds?
Captqc, just solved the expected problem. Just bought another 204, maybe between two of them plus a 17hmr, I won't miss out on much shooting time. Thank you guys for your replies. Would be nice if this one liked 32 grs as well as the first one liked 40 grs, factory Horanady.

Re: How many rounds?
Do you let the barrel cool naturally, or do you put wet towells on it? What is the normal amount of time necessary to cool barrel?

Re: savage model 25
Glad you are enjoying your 204. I also own a model 25 in 204 caliber. The only thing, I got into BIG TROUBLE for posting a negetive comment about a Sinclair product, ABOLUSTELY no different than what you just did in stating your problem with the Hoppes rod. I'm sure you'll catch heck about it being ...

Re: Sinclair Bore Guides
WOW, now I've gone from being the only one to ever complain about Sinclair to being one of three (3) posters out of seven (7 )(.4285714 %) who are not TOTALLY HAPPY with Sinclair products . WOW Wonder, just wonder, what a truly representitive survey of Sinclair customers would reveal   TU...

Re: Sinclair Bore Guides
Was totally torn/undecided as to buy Savage 204 or 223. At Ricks suggestion, purchased the 204. Had issues with ring height (totally my fault) and just last week, got the proper rings put on. Shot it in last Sunday, and will be going to the range this weekend to derermine whether she likes the 32 or...

Re: Sinclair Bore Guides
Baba, doubt very seriously Sinclair will refund my money on the MANY MINI PEICES of the original bore guides (gotta love those table saws). If you haven't been able to read into my post, MONEY NEVER THE ISSUE. CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS THE ISSUE. I NEVER, EVER compound my problems (big or small) by doing...

Re: Sinclair Bore Guides
PROBLEM SOLVED
The 2 Sinclair Bore Guides are now a large number of itsy bitsy teeny weeny peices of bore guides(gotta love those table saws). Detailed E Mail sent to Mike Lucas concerning the 2 bore guides which I need. Not difficult to overcome small obstacles.
