Re: WTB 6mm Rem Neck Sizing Die
An easy and inexpensive solution is a Lee Collet die. They require no lubrication and do an excellent job rwith extremely low run out. I have one in 6mm Rem and love it. Neck sizers stretch the brass, collet dies sweeze the brass back into shape causing far less trimming. I've shot mine 5 times and ...

Re: Cooper Rifles
My Cooper Phoenix likes the Sierra 39 and 32 grain Blitzking bullets as well as the 32 V-Max. It likes Benchmark and Alliant 10X powders. It doesn't like the 40 grain V-Max quite as well. The Nosler 40 is also just ok.

Re: Question?? Part 2........Rifle burst test
I found this clip over on Long Range Hunting web site......... Re: Rifle burst tests, how good is your rifle? Back in the late sixties a gun magazine ran a test on five rifles with overloaded rounds. The Win, Rem, and Browning (FN Mauser back then) all blew on the first round, the Weatherby went th...

Re: Yeah baby, its a Flatbolt!
It is a 9 twist. I ordered a set of Lee Collet dies from Cabela's. I've never fooled around with those. It should be fun. I read that they are among the best dies for low run-out.

Yeah baby, its a Flatbolt!
Did I pay too much @ $349? It's 1969 Ruger M77R in 6mm Remington. These SOB's came with Douglas barrels and old Bill Ruger demanded they be assembled right and tight. Later on "not so much". http://i200.photobucket.com/albums/aa147/okbob51/IMG_0312.jpg http://i200.photobucket.com/alb...

Re: Anyone with an opinion of the Rem 770 or Savage Edge
both suck...I'd wait, take more time to save, buy something you can be proud of and won't break down and will be more accurate.

Re: Cooper owners
my cooper likes 10X with the 30 bergers, 32 vmax and 32 sierra's. it also shoots the 39 sbk's very well but it won't shoot the 40 grain vmax's. it does shoot the nosler 40, however

I don't have any 39 sbk but I might be interested in buying your 32 grain sbk and 224 52 hpbt.
What do you want for them? Thanks, Bob

Alliant 10X
I really like the way 10X powder shoots in my Cooper but, it is REALLY dirty. I don't use brushes on this barrel but this stuff makes me want to. Anybody else have this experience?

Re: Savage Model 12 Dual Port...
You must be looking at the LRPV model....it comes with the HS Precision stock. They are made with right bolt left port, right bolt right port and the new dual port. Retail in my area is about $1050 but they are usually sold for around $850-$1000. Great gun! Buy it!
