Re: Bolt not closong all the way
Well I have a lee press, not sure what the model is but it seems to just hit top dead center and thats it. I guess I need to see this in action to understand fully. It is hard for me to understand because I load .45 acp by the thousands and they go bang every time. Same with .30-06.

Re: Scales...Whats are we using?
I have a lyman dps3 dispenser/scale and it works great on anything from .204 to .500 mag to .30-06. So far I have no complaints with it. Accurate and fast.

Bolt not closong all the way
Hey guys I have a problem with misfires/bolt not closing completely on my AR. I took it to a gunsmith and he told me that I need to shoot about 100 rds through it and not clean it. He said the residue will help lap/break in the lugs on the bold face and reciever so that the bolt will lock up every t...

Re: My First coyote
I was deer hunting actually during rifle season here in east tennessee. My .30-06 was giving me problems this year and it is legal to deer hunt in TN with any centerfire rifle now. The next best rifle I have is the .204 so I used it this year.

Re: problems reloading with once fired brass
Well guys I really appreciate your advice and I am definatley going to be looking into some different dies. I have been using RCBS full length dies. It seems the problem is that even when i size the brass the diameter of the shoulder is wider than factory brass and I believe that may be why the once...

problems reloading with once fired brass
I have been trying to reload some .204 ammo for my Model one sales AR-15 in .204 ruger. I have been very succesful with using new brass but I recently tried some loads using my once fired brass. I use a RCBS full length die set and it seems that the brass has been fire formed and the base of the cas...

AR15 Trigger solutions????
Hey guys, I just got a brand new burris fullfield 2 tactical scope zeroed in and I need a better trigger to get the most out of my .204. It is an ar-15 and I know that there are a lot of drop in triggers out there and I know you can lighten the pull with some different springs. I was just wondering ...

Re: My AR is finally here!!!
It is a 24'' barrel to answer your question. I was also wondering if anyone has tried to put in a lighter trigger and hammer spring to lighten the trigger pull weight. I can tell that it is pretty heavy now and I heard that this is a cheaper alternative to buying a $200 drop in trigger. I have got a...

Re: AR-15 Ammo that will work?!?!
When you say I need to create more neck tension do you mean that I need to crimp the bullet into place? I have encountered feeding problems in the past with automatic pistols and uncrimped ammo. I also thought that I could load some ammo that is seated long and some that is seated to work in the mag...

I have ordered an ar in .204 from model 1 sales. I am curious if any of you guys have any suggested brass, bullets, die sets or whatever that will produce reliable and accurate ammo that will cycle well in an AR. I am sure some of you have been doing this for years and know a lot of tricks. As for m...

Re: Which scope for AR .204???
Thanks for all of your help guys. I am going to go to bass pro shops just to give some of these scopes the actual eyeball test. After all everyone shoots a little bit different and people have their own preferences. I like something that is really clear with a good reticle that doesn't split off and...
