Re: RL17 with 40 grain bullets, anyone try?
After trying many powders, i have settled on RL15. I can assure you that you won't have room in the case for enough rl17 mate.

Re: Sierra Bullet Problem
I couldn't agree more. I always measure to the ogive (and consider it one of the most important accuracy tools) and 39gr SBKs are terrible. Your findings mirror mine. I have recently measured 500 Nosler 40gr and found half a thou in the whole lot.!!! That's better than Scenars....amazing results. I ...

lead-free 32gr noslers
Hi guys Has anyone tried the 32gr Nosler lead-free bullets alongside the lead ones? I'd be very interested to know how they went.....

Best heads in pacnor 3groove 1/12
Hi guys :) Could someone who has tested Nosler and SBKs 40/39gr heads in a Pacnor 1/12T 3groove 20cal tube please tell me which are best, if there's anything in it at all? Please only people who have tested them side by side. I'm not looking for a debate thanks (i'm aware of the various spin issues ...

Re: RL-15 in the 204 Ruger
I use RL15 in my 204 (howa action/ 23" Border Archer 1-10.5" barrel/ DM80/Timney) and it is the most accurate powder, slightly edging Benchmark (i've used H322/RL10x,Benchmark, Varget) I use 28.2gr RL15, 39SBK @ 1.890" to the ogive (40th jump) BR4 primers. Nolser custom brass (fully p...

Re: Sierra Bullet Problem
I agree, aim4gold - i have recently found similar length issues wit hthem. I just batch them and shoot them separately but when you've got that much variation, you need about 4batches and it all gets to be a pain. I'm currently waiting on 300 40gr vmax for testing in my new 1/11" Archer so we'l...
