I ran across this trimmer http://www.forsterproducts.com/catalog. ... prevnext=1 a while ago but Forster doesn't have any plans to make a .204 cal pilot.
Does anyone here have the expertise to make a pilot for one of these, or any pull with Forest?
Seems it would be a great tool.

Why not build one? That way you can get the best of everything. That's what I did and am very happy, my son is now in the process of doing the same thing.

Re: Barrel twist question
Greetings
I had many of the same questions that you had.
Here is my solution.
http://www.204ruger.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=6972
So far have shot up to 40 grain with great success. I would have gone with 11 twist but Shilen only did 1:10 for the type of barrel I wanted.

Re: 40 gr. Key-holage
My 2 sons have Rem 700 and shot .5 moa groups @ 100 yards using 40 grain vmax and 26.7 grains reloader 15. My ar has a 1:10 twist and I shoot even tighter groups.

Re: False Blue reading on patches
I would have to agree about the price of shipping, but it's not the company's fault. I own a business and we hear it all the time, some people get down right ugly/nasty when we tell them the shipping cost! I did a quick check on UPS shipping from PA. 18969 to Fargo, ND (not sure of your exact town) ...

Re: Wilson Case Trimmer operation question
Another reason to ream is to remove the "doughnut" from inside the case neck.
Here is a great article on that and other case prep items.

Re: Wilson Case Trimmer operation question
Be forewarned the case holders are different for "new" unfired and fired cases. Most of the new cases I had did not work in the "fired" holder, could not push them in far enough to stick. On the other hand most of the "fired" cases worked in the unfired holder. Almost c...

Re: source for WS2 Tungsten Disulphide
I just ordered a pound of the Hex-Boron Nitride (hBN) Powder to play with.
Would be willing to sell a little when it shows up if you could use that instead?
It shipped today should be here (Montana) in about a week to 10 days.
