Thanks Wireless, I'll have to see if the barrel and bolt face is cost effective before going with it. I can probably buy a CZ527 in a 204 and have it rechambered for less cost.

I've heard good about pac nor but have a question someone here might be able to answer. I have a CZ 527 22K Hornet that I would like to barrel to a 20 VT.
Is it possible to use the hornet receiver. I use a single shot adapter so the magazine length is not a concern.

I ended up finding a Cooper Varmint (not MTV) in 223 for a decent price, ordered a Ziess 6x20x50 varmint reticle. Should have the rifle tomarrow and the scope soon after. Someday maybe a 204

Thanks for the info', not smart on computer abbreviations, I live about 250 miles from first Stop Guns in Rapid City, SD. They have about the best buys on coopers that I've found, however I'd like to find a pre-owned instead of buying new.

I was looking over the forum as I hadn't been on for a while and in the unanswered posts I found this ad. Do you still have the MTV and why are you wanting to sell it. Are you interested in anything on trade?

I have a Rem 700 BDL varmint in 223 that I could live without.

I am looking at a Kimber 84 SSV (84C) in 223 cal.

Does anyone know what the twist rate is on this rifle?

Does anyone have any comments either good or bad about this firearm through experience?

Well,the 22-250 I was considering to purchase isn't available anymore but I still have alot of interest in the 204.

The 22/250 is a 14 twist so anything over about a 62gr is out of the question.

Glenn I agree with you but this will my used to cut paper over a bench so the wollup isn't the biggest factor. The trajectory is more important , and the ability to buck wind.
