Re: Cleaning a stainless steel barrel
I have been using the Proof-Positive jags since they first came out and they do eliminate the false reading that brass jags cause with Bore-Tech Eliminator. I also use their C4 carbon remover product prior to using the Eliminator copper/fouling remover. Works great. The Proof-Positive jags appear to...

Re: Why I load to 2.247" Cartridge Overall Length. Make sense?
FWIW...Seating dies are usually made to make contact with the Ogive of the bullet not the tip of the bullet, so the distance to the lands will remain the same (using the same box of bullets) regardless of the O.A.L of the cartridge. O.A.L is usually going to vary, thats why its better to use C.O.A.L...

Re: 22 K-Hornet & Barnes 30gr Varmint Grenades
Nice write up Rick. It looks like a 28" factory barrel to me. BTW have you done anything to improve the trigger pull on the Browning 1885 low-wall repro? I have owned several Highwalls, Browning and Winchester long tang both, and the triggers always needed to be worked on. My BPCR friend "...

Re: RL-10X?
I would like to hear if anyone (RIO) has compared accuracy using different lot numbers of RL-10X? I just finished up a 5 pounder, and the new 5 pounder I have now is a different lot number and its been too crappy outside to do any accuracy/chronographing until the weather warms up. Silverfox told me...

Re: Kansas Prairie Dogs
Thanks for the reply. We want to go early enough to beat the heat but I am bringing an E-Z Up shelter. Im also going to bring two or three .204's (lots of ammo) and a .17HMR for the close ones (200yds. and under) but will stick with the .204's (39gr. Sierra BlitzKings) for the remainder of available...

Kansas Prairie Dogs
This year we are heading for Kansas to shoot Prairie Dogs and maybe a Coyote or two. We will be shooting the third week of May. Maybe if any of the forum members are going to be in Kansas that week we could meet in Syracuse. If you have shot there before P.M. me.

Re: Another one off of the deck.
Gube.....That is one big coyote; what would you estimate he weighed? Nice shooting, did you use a rest when shooting from the deck, or do you rest the forend on the deck railing? Nice picture with the house in the background. Great job. ![wtg :wtg:](./images/smilies/wtg.gif)

Re: Do I get a Schmidt or 2 Nikon Monarch Tacticals?
Go with the Nikon's they not only make excellent camera's, their scopes are a bargin for what you pay for them. You can spend a lot more money but 2 for the price of one sounds good to me. I own a NEW #8428 Monarch 6-24x50SF M FCD and it is clear out to the very edges; and very repeatable adjustment...

Re: REDDING DIES
Keep in mind that the Redding Body die does NOT size the neck. Most use it as a bump die to resize head to shoulder length. FWIW
