Re: Tikka T3 Varmint Range report
How do you like the Vortex? I keep hearing great things about them, and the ones I've peeked thru seemed very good. Amazing scope for the money. Ive owned Elite 4200's and Mark 4's on my other guns and this Viper is better then the 4200's and on par with the Mark 4 in my opinion. Solid scope with a...

Tikka T3 Varmint Range report
My Tikka T3 Varmint came in a while back and mounted a Vortex Viper 6.5-20x44 on it and headed out to see how she shot. I was amazed at how well this gun shot with zero mods other then lowering the trigger weight. The test targets are some of my intial loads and have not done any fine tuning...Im ve...

Why not just screw the die down a small amount to make up for the die?

Re: Need info primers backing out!
FL dies should not be screwed down past the ram stop. Even if the directions say so. The directions are wrong!!! The RCBS manual says to 1/8 to 1/4 turn further down. Do you usually just get the shell holder to touch the die and leave it there?? I have a similar problem as the original poster. Chee...

Any of you fine gentlemen shooting a Tikka in the .204 ? Looks like I may be getting either the T3 Lite or T3 Varmint and am wondering how you guys like em. I'm not crazy about the one sized fits all action but anything will be better then my Remington which has an oversized bolt face and ejection i...

How do the BK's compare to the V-max in terms of accuracy? Ive got lots of 32 gr. V-Max and 32 gr. Nosler BT's, hopefully they will shoot well.700remguy wrote:Hi Scott,I have the same rig, nice choice!Mine loves benchmark and 32 gr Blitzs,Matt

Well I just got back this little gun from the smith yesterday and mounted a new scope on it.I had the trigger reworked to a crisp 1.5 lb. Barrel free floated and action bedded. I needed a new extracor as well the old one failed. I also through on a new Vortex 6.5-20x44 which is outstanding for the p...
