Re: So i bit the Bullet...... On a new 204..
Ok well i will give it a try. I got the gun and i just mounted the new scope and rings on it. It looks sweet. It sure is a heavy gun, but thats the way i like it. Im not a very good shot with my syn rifle that i used to own and that is why i went to a heavy barrel rife. Im sure this thing weighs at ...

So i bit the Bullet...... On a new 204..
Well i have been looking at new rifles the last little while and have decided to go with a remington modle 700 VLS. I wanted the Rem 700 VLSS but it was 500 extra for it. I currently have a savage modle 25 in 204 ruger and have absolutly loved this caliber. Only reason im upgrading is cause i have a...

Re: How to start Hnad loading
Sorry to stray from topic, but where are you guys getting your powder from in sask lately. wholesale don't have much of any powder/primers unless you shoot pistols or bmg. Russles in Cow town wont ship powder. cabella's/SIR out of stock on most of their common stuff as well. What do you need? I hav...

Re: How to start Hnad loading
Well its been a long time since i updated. I ended up not going with a progressive press. I went with a RCBS single stage press and so far so good. I havent had much time to reload but i did up 150 rounds today to go try once the weather smartens up. I found that my rifle really likes the 40grn stuf...

Re: ONE LONG DOG
Well i must say. That is one impressive shot. I shot a dog today at 380yrds with a winchester supreme ballistic tip 32grn. It took 2 shot to kill him(first was a 40gr bereger). It took alot to take him down and he wieghted in at 31.2lbs. There was a good size group and the biggest was 50lbs even and...

Re: How to start Hnad loading
Thanks for your opinion on the dillion. I would like to get into it as it will be cheap and from what i have read about the dillion on various sites, it seems like alot of volume loaders use the dillion and swear by it. Well im gonna look into a dillion i think and ill keep you posted on what i deci...

Re: How to start Hnad loading
Im up in Sask as well :D I don't think you're going to save much when you take into the cost of completly setting yourself up to reload with quailty reloading components. The one thing you will gain is the abililty to tailor a load to your rifle and load bullets which you can't find in a factory bo...

Re: Blooded the Foxpro Fury and Foxxy Fox w/ Whirling Woodpecker
nice take down. Is that the first fox pro you have owned? And who makes the fox decoy? I have a cyotoe one but the fox one would be nice as the foxes and yotes around my place fight quite a bit.
