My brother in law is a velocity nut thats all he thinks about, not me I am more concerned with accuracy. My Rem 700 SPS Varmint 204 even in my hands is a shooter. I may not cut rag holes all the time, but I seem to kill my share of varmints. Welcome to the forum and I think you made the right choice...

The real question is which one do you like the best and how much do you want to spend. I don't think you will go wrong with any that you chose.

I am a sucker to try new scopes, today I own Mueller (2) someone said chinese junk well they are goodchinese junk thye have been good scopes so far., Swift Premier, Hawke, Nikon, Leupold (2 VX-II), Bushnell (4 - 2-3200 2-4200), Zeiss Conquest, Trijicon (2) each gun is setup for a particular purpose....

RCBS makes a hand held tool that has an adjustment that will fit all different brass. It works well, just takes time of course and I always do all my new brass when I first get it......

I have the 3200 and 4200. They each serve a particular type of hunting. I will say that which ever one you pick should serve you well, and you can always upgrade the gun or if you don't like the scope you well be able to sell them immediately. I own two HMR's a Ruger K77/17VMBBZ w/ Nikon Buckmaster 6x18x40 SF BDC and a MARLIN 917VS w/ Mueller 4.5x14x44 APV both of these ALWAYS go with me when I go PD hunting. I take two bricks of Hornady 17grVMAX both guns love them..........They are great to shoot
