Judging by the shine on that brass I'd say you won.
Gotta get me one of those sonic gizmos ;)

I'm positive I'll shoot the postal targets at home!!! When I do go to the public range its like opening day everyday here. Hot brass flying everywhere from the AR and Ak shooters learning to yank the trigger real fast at 25yds. Crossfires on my targets in both directions from everything from 22lr to...

You'll definately be doing yourself a disservice shooting round robin. This style of group shooting is used for load development only. To compare different seating depths or powder charges etc. By shooting these tests in the round robin fashion each load variation is spread equally in a bore gatheri...

My biggest disappointment with the .204 Ruger was that it was not very accurate past 300yds. Any Prairie dogs that were 350yds away were actually fairly safe when I was shooting that rifle. Must of had a bent rifle... Kinda what I thought. Then he tried 50 gr bullets. :? I discussed this stuf...

No Skipper Just some strange humor on my part. Its been awful hot underneath my hard hat lately. My fellow coworkers have to put up with unintelligable comments like that all day. Pity them.

While surfing/lurking in a long range forum the other day I read that Nosler brass is made by Federal and then prepped.
The few long rangers who tried it were impressed by the fact that after two loadings it automatically deprimes :)
Those guys do run hot.
Not sure if its really true though.

Wrz Waldo Seeing as we're conducting this shoot under the honor system I think you can be trusted with your own target. I participated in a postal shoot at Savageshooters. You fired your agg at any target you desired and emailed in the results. Thats trust ;) edit Hotshot beat me to it but I like hi...

jo191145: I noticed you're from CT, I happened into a ruger 77/22 hornet and wanted to get it cut to K-Hornet and I found a company called Connecticut Precision Chambering. Have you ever heard of them? I talked to the guy and he seemed knowledgeable but I wanted a little more info before I made a d...

All great advice so far and the answer is probably in there somewhere. Just to add to your confusion let me throw in a few more possibilities  Try ditching the bipod for awhile. You do not need a BR rest in front but sand on both ends might help. Pods can really mess with rifle harmonics espec...

Did I hear someone say Prairie Dog Postal Shoot. Sounds great, send me a couple dozen fat ones. I'll bet shipping will hurt but for a guy stuck in Connecticut I'll pay to play.
Send em before winter or they might freeze to death before they get here.

Wrz Waldo Just my opinion but Dan Newberrys method is just not greatly suited to a flat shooter like the 204. At 100 yds the jumps between nodes can be less than half an inch per node. Add to that a 204's average group size of .5 moa and your basically chasing your tail. I quess I should stipulate h...
