204 on Mt Lion
Anyone at this site used a 204 on Cougar? I have seen bigger game taken but was wondering if someone had a good large cat load. Range would definetly be under 300 yards and most likely under 150....

Re: UL....
Well I owned an UL before and traded or sold it for something else......big mistake, not as much as passing up a stainless number 1A in 204 but huge none the less. Now I am looking to buy a new walking 204. I was actually contemplating a stainless Hawkeye and then bedding it in a wood stock.... I se...

Re: .20 Caliber Fun in the Rat Patch (Beaucoup Pics)
Well it sure is good to see my old home of Eastern Oregon in pics and stories. Years since I lived in Madras. I had to go four years without wetting a line on the Deschutes river and last summer when I finally get there with my twelve year old boy my wife calls to tell me she moved out and that were...

Ruger Hawkeye or CZ 527 American.
I am again in the market for a 204 Ruger. I have heard some good and bad things about the quality of Ruger rifles as of late. No heavy barrels just a walking around rifle for off season varmints and predators a little winter snowshoeing and general all around kicking it rifle. I have a 308 for all m...

Longest 204 chuck kill?
Whats the longest rock chuck kill any of you have made with a 204 Ruger? What was your long range 204 load and what kind of rifle/scope combo were you using?

Re: Skippy Flies Again on the 20 Cal Express (Part II)
As always, good writing makes for good reading. Thanks for sharing your most recent hunt with us all. I will be going down to Lake Billy Chinook at the begining of june, a family camping trip with some flyfishing and hopefully some rat and chuck killing . I always wondered what kind of camera your u...

221 Fireball or 20 VarTarg.
I have been dreaming of a light weight walking varminter in a Cooper rifle. I have settled on the Cooper Classic at an advertised weight of 6.25 lbs. For many years I have wanted a rifle chambered in 221 Fireball, but am now also considering the 20 VarTarg. I just purchased a Ruger M 77 MK II standa...

It was the last one he had, just a left over that was never sold. I figured it was a good deal an...

New rifle find.
Found a Ruger M 77 Mark II at Steves munitions, new in box. Chambered in 204 Ruger, he had a hard time selling the few 204s that he picked up. We dont have a lot of varmint shooting on the wet side. Cost was only $475 plus tax. Now all I need is a Cooper Classic in 20 VT. As soon as I learn more abo...

Weaver V series 4-16 owner opinions needed.
I have been looking at a lot of scopes in the past few weeks and for the money the Weaver V series is the clearest. I would just like to hear from anyone that has owned one for a while to get an opinion based on use and longevity.
