Re: The British want their guns back
LeeC, unfortunatley we don't have a second amendment over here. I'd say you are priviledged to have the right I also have a license to fly autogyros and i'm told, that is also a priviledge, seems like nothings a right over here. Regards KB.

Re: New remington trigger?
Hi Ruger No 1, If you mean the X mark pro trigger i have two of those on model sevens. I had them both adjusted by a smith and now they will both let go at 3lbs, they will also let go anywhere else, right up to 5 1/2 lbs. No consistancy whatsoever, more to come......they sometimes go over on cycling...

Re: The British want their guns back
Hi Melvin, no offence taken and no appology needed. I can't comment on the vid.as i hav'nt seen it. After the incident the government moved very swiftly and the law was changed to ban hand guns. its so bad i believe even our olympic pistol shooters have to leave the country to practice, i would have...

Re: The British want their guns back
Hi Melvin, Your comment is a bit unfair. We did not just sit back, but there was no time to get organized because our masters had a knee jerk reaction to a very tragic event. As they rightly say, the criminal element are not affected by firearms legislation. regards KB.

Re: Last Day of the Season
Thanks skipper, i was asking because my 11 year old grandson has started to accompany me on occasional wood pigeon shooting trips, he has been using a Webley .410 bolt action, but finds the safety too hard (it involves pulling a part of the bolt back against the pressure of the fireing pin spring) a...

Re: Barrels & temps.
Hi Rick, Thats all interesting information. I was wondering if barrels might have been made tapering from muzzle to breech so that they would change to a true cylinder when the breech warmed up(assuming the action end operates at higher temps. than the other end) as i was told by a Canadian pilot th...

Barrels & temps.
Hi, are there any technos out there who can tell me wether a rifle barrel is designed to shoot best when cold or is there an optimum temperature? Also does the ambient temp. in some of your hotter states have a detrimental effect on barrel performance? Thanks KB.
