Re: Follow on from"As a matter of interest"
Hi Rick, thanks for that. I may as well order now as our local ( 30 miles away) importer at fox firearms tells me it could be around 7 months from order to delivery. I suppose that time may shorten if a few people decide to tighten their belts because of the economic situation...Then again you get n...

Follow on from"As a matter of interest"
Hello there, after much deliberation i decided to go for one of Coopers Jackson varminters as it is nice and light with a skinny barrel, and has a rollover cheekpiece which i prefer for off hand shooting. Being a single shot rifle suits me and it still comes with Coopers accuracy guarantee...1/2 moa...

Re: as a matter of interest
Hi BCB, when someone with the knowledge makes comments, novices like myself tend to believe most of what we read and not think it might be a typing error, it was just the fact that you said to Rick that you didn't say it that had me confused. Anyway i appreciated your input, thanks,KB. :) PS. Probabl...

Well, Rick, you DID say this was a subjective issue! Thanks to all for opinions offered, you can't do better than getting several takes on things you don't have much expeience with. Does anyone know if coopers are bedded and floated before they come out of the factory gates? Cheers KB.

Re: as a matter of interest
Hi Rick, would you choose the kimber over the cooper only because it has a magazine or for some other reason? Sounds like your kimber is made from orgasmic material! Thanks very much KB.

as a matter of interest
I sold my 204 ruger no1 stainless laminate varmint rifle because it was too heavy to carry very far. Now i can't make up my mind whether to order and wait 2 or 3 months for a Cooper or Kimber, or go for a factory job. On looking at advertisements for a factory one i have only come up with 12 in all ...

Re: Systems keeps logging me off
Hi, it happens to me every few weeks, then it rights itself. I think it might be some of the critters that have a close shave in the field that cause it. KB.

Re: Muzzle brake on .22 cal. rifles?
Hi Steve, i don't usually take pics. but i could revisit the scene because the fox should still be in decent nick as it's been frosty with a couple of inches of snow around Britain. Thats the easy bit. Totally useless with 'puter (you would'nt believe how long it can take to do a short post with jus...
