Nice story Melvin,
I think you're gonna like that 527.
Mine is on it's 3rd season and is the best walkin around rifle I own. Used 35 Bergers the first 2 seasons but went to the 32 Nosler this year and so far they seem to be working about the same as the bergers on coyotes.

Re: NW Illinois coyote
Great post. Thanks for the results with the 40 nbt. I have only used the 35 berger on coyotes and it has done very well in my opinion. The drawback is the poor ballistic coef. I will be trying the nbt in the near future. Has anyone tried the 32 nbt on coyotes. If it holds together as well as the 40 ...

Nice job.
I was wondering how those 39 sierra's would work on coyotes. Sounds like they held up well so far.
I've been using the 35 Bergers but they don't have a very good BC and the wind really move's them around when they get much over 200yds.

Re: New addition to the arsenal: CZ527 American
The 527 American in 204 has been my favorite calling rifle for the last 2 seasons. Had to remove just a bit of wood from the right forarm to float the barrel. It's grouping in the .6's at 100 and 1.2's at 200 with the 35 berger and BLC2 at 3850fps. I havn't tried H 4895 or RX10x but suspect H4895 ma...
