Thanks ramos for actually answering my question without all the balls talk. lol thats exactly what i was wondering, i do have plans to reload for a .17 rem eventually in the future so i might as well order the smaller cutter while im at it.

Do i need to also order the .17 / .20 cal cutter to trim .204 ruger properly? Also im stuck between ordering the wilson trimmer with sinclairs micrometer that reads actual trim length, vs wilsons own micrometer which looks like a stronger and sturdier design to me. i know the wilson only gives micro...

i seen brownells makes decent looking laps and they have alignment bar set with sleved sliding bars. just wonder if the bars could be used with the flats touching instead of the points? but even better looking yet seems to be a kokopelli accurising kit with their flat faced aligning bars and angle g...
