Re: Retical Radar (Field Pics)

Hey Rick, I know that Cooper's are very accurate rifles from all that I have read on the forums, but now that you have experience with one, even though it is in a 223 rather than a 204, how would you compare the quality and accuracy to your "SPOD?" I know that you have commented here befor...

Re: New Cooper

dk: I also just got a Cooper M21 (in 223) and mounted a Leupold Vari-X III 3.5-10X LR M1 40mm that I had here, used Low Leupold rings, and the objective bell just clears the varmint weight barrel. It only has about .060" of clearence, and as such, the Butler Creek flip cap will not fit the obj...

Re: Springtime Fun w/Skippy & the 204 (Pics)

Your Ruger No.1 Varmint sure is a pretty rifle.

How are your %'s of hits with that compared to your .204's?

What ranges do you push it to?

Love the pics and reading about your adventures.

Hey CV32...

I just read in another thread that your Remmy VLS is back from Pac-Nor. Think you could post some pics of the finished product?

I was thinking about throwing a Pac-Nor on a VLS as well.

Can't wait to see how your Remmy shoots! As I am thinking about the 1:10 twist too.

Thanks. :D

Re: Hunting Shack Munitions???

Like Rick said, I've shot a ton of Hunting Shack .204 with excellent results. Their price is better than any other brand of ammo out there. I know that some folks have had trouble reloading the HS headstamped stuff but a lot of what I have is Winchester stamped. I don't currently reload but I'm sav...

Rick in Oregon wrote:That was Captqc (Gary) shooting the HSM 204 ammo if you want to send him a PM. He shot bucket-loads of the stuff, and Skippy didn't seem to fly any less.
Thanks for the name Rick, I will do that.

Re: Hunting Shack Munitions???

A couple of my rat shooting buddies have shot his 204R ammo for a couple of years, and Skippy did the dance about every time, so it appears to be carefully loaded with good components. I saw a picture of one your buddies with a box of HSM ammo on his bench and I was going to search him out (on the ...

Cleaning Some of My Favorites

I decided to clean some rifles the other day, and since I am new to the forum and like seeing pics of your rifles I thought I would post a couple favorites of mine. This is my Remmy 788 chambered in .223. It was given to my grandfather by a guy whose kids didn't treat him well in his old age and he ...
