I just purchased a Savage 12FV in 204 Ruger with a Nikon Buckmaster scope with mil dots in weaver medium mounts and rings. Haven't been out to sight it in yet but hopefully soon. The scope sits really close to the barrel when I put the scope caps on the front one above the barrel fit a little to snu...
