Mike,
Thanks for bringing that link up! I really like the new guns coming out too! I really wanted to get into the 6 BR norma but didnt want the 1 in 12 twist they were currently offering. Do you know when the 09 models will come out?

Re: COAL Help
The two guns that i want to measure are a Ruger Mark II (i believe, its dads gun) with a bull barrel, its all factory. The second gun is a savage LRPV 204 thats all factory. I want them to be as accurate as possible, but will only be shooting prairie dogs with the two guns. So should I just seat my ...

Re: Barnes Varmint Grenade In the 22-250
Hello, I have a 22 250 Savage LRPV. I tested the 69 grain HPBT Sierra's and my gun loved them. I have the 1 in 9 twist so it stabalized them very well. I used 35.7 gr. of IMR 4350 with CCI BR primers and I got .3 for a three shot group at 100 yards. Im wishing I had 5 bullets to try.. Next week I pl...

Re: My office.
Yes, we own a farm in central Missouri and hunting out of a tractor would be awesome. While mowing hay the coyotes are looking for mice, rabbits, or anything that we hit with the mowers. I have been 100 yards or closer to them while working.. and of course this is the time you do not have a gun!!!

Re: The REAL Varmints are at it again.............
I hear you.. It makes me so mad when I hear about this topic. It would be horrible to protect them because it will just cause more soil erosion and hurt grasslands. Also, when cattle step in the holes it can hurt them.

Re: I am hooked.
December through the end of February is the best time to hunt here in Missouri. Februrary is their breeding season and you will see 3 times as many coyotes during this month. Since deer season just ended the yotes arent too hungry, but I will be getting the caller ready asap and get to calling them ...

Re: Is the 204 enough as a full time coyote gun.
I agree with all of the other posts! The .204 is the best gun on the market. I feel there isnt any other cartridge out there that is more accurate than the 204 (That is up to 400 yards with the right load, but wind starts killing you at this distance). I own two .204's (Ruger and Savage) and only on...

Re: Need a load for 22-250!
Hello everybody, I am sorry for just getting back to you all. I wanted the heavier bullets to shoot longer distances. I have my Ruger and Savage .204's for prairie dogs up to 350 yards or so. I wanted something to make some 400 yard shots possible. I have the H 4350, H 4895, and IMR 3031 to play wit...

Need a load for 22-250!
I am needing a load for my Savage LRPV 22-250. It is a 1 in 9 twist. I have the 69 grain Sierra HPBT bullets that i want to try, but do not know where to begin on powers. Any help would be appreciated! Also, Sierra says not to hunt with the matchking bullets, but I cannot find any other type of Sier...

Re: new gun, proper barrel break-in ?
You will be alright without a bore guide for a little while but i would get one asap. The bore guide will keep solvents and fouling from entering back into the chamber when cleaning. It has an o ring on the end of the bore guide that does this. It also it keeps your rod and brush centered as you bei...

Re: new gun, proper barrel break-in ?
I would always use the materials listed above when cleaning your rifle. The bore guides are a must, one piece rods, jags, and the solvents you listed were good. I would recommend using Tubbs Final Finish bullets to break in your gun. I run these bullets on every new gun that I buy. It consists of 50...
