Re: Cooper model 21 or others?
I have four Cooper rifles and love them all. Each shoots wonderfully. I have Leupolds on two of them, and NightForce optics on the other two.

Re: IMR 8208xbr powder
I bought two 8 LB kegs of it and plan to try it soon in my .204, .22-250, and 6MM BR rifles. MY first tasking will be to compare it directly to my tried and true .204 load of 27.5 H4895 - 39 gr. SBK. I'll compare using powder as the only variable to see how it stacks up in my custom .204 and will re...

I plan to try it soon. The reviews I have read on it all are positive, and the benchrest boys love it.

Re: Hydraulic Recoil Rifle Buffer
I installed an Enidine on a .450 Bushmaster, and it still kicks like a mule. Not sure I would buy another one.

Re: CUstom .204 finally arrived
We had a great time in WY - my son and I shot over 1600 rounds in 2.5 days. I shot some video but very few stills. It was hard to stay with the camera with so much good PD shooting going on. I will try and get a few pics posted. The new rifle (and backup Cooper .204) shot well. Longest confirmed kil...

Wow, great shooting with the 55 gr bullets. I caan't wait to get a 1-9" twist barrel and try the big bullets.

My next .204...
......will be an AR-15 with 24" Shilen barrel 1-9" twist. I'd like to experiment with the heavier bullets and see how they perform in the gusty Oklahoma wind. I don't see many folks here on this forum shooting 1-9" twist barrels. I'd welcome any comments from folks that are shooting f...

Checklist for prairie dog shoot
I've been making a list of things to pack for my trip out west next week. Here is what I have so far - what am I missing? 1.) Guns/ammo 2.) Rangefinder, binocs 3.) Cleaning gear, rods, cradle, etc. 4.) Sunscreen, hat, shoooting glasses, ear plugs 5.) Front/rear rest, bags 6.) BR Pivot (in transit ho...

Re: Springtime Fun w/Skippy Pt II (Pics)
Great pics, Rick - shooting from the elevated trailer bed had to be fun. Did you have your new Cooper with you on this trip or was that a later acquisition? I have 4 Coopers (.204, .22-250, 6mm BR, and .260) and all shoot great. My only wish is that they come with a lighter trigger, but that is just...

Great pics and story Mike. Did your ammo last the trip? I am taking 2000 rounds to WY for a 3 day shoot.

Re: My first black rifle...
I acquired a Whiteoak Armament upper a few weeks back (was 6 months on order) but it is sweet. It has a 20" fluted barrel. It shoots very well.

Re: BR Pivot available AGAIN
Rick,
I can't tell you how happy I am to be able to get a BR Pivot for my trip. Don't worry, the camera will be first thing packed! I took the new rifle for a test drive today. I was pleased to say the least!
