Re: CZ ACTION SMOOTHING ?

After some polishing with flitz and working the bolt the action has smoothed up nicely. Accuracy wise my 204's and 221fb have been great both guns hold moa pretty easily with just about any load i've tried. With the right loads they all shoot 1/2 moa or better very happy with them, happy enough I or...

Re: CZ ACTION SMOOTHING ?

My problem actually is with the bolt sliding rough and sticking towards the back. I'm glad you talked about the magazine that was my next question Thanks!

CZ ACTION SMOOTHING ?

I have 2 cz 527 varmint 204s both guns shoot great and I really like them, but the actions are a little rough compared to my Kimber and Remingtons. Just wondering what some of you guys have done to help with this issue I know after alot of shooting and cycling they get better just looking for any ti...

Re: BERGER BULLET??

Thanks Guys! It just struck me odd that the BC on the two different boxes had changed after these bullets have been out for a long time.

BERGER BULLET??

This winter I have finally gotten out to test the 35gr. Bergers on coyotes with great success we have harvested 32 coyotes with this bullet with no failures to speak of. So last night I went to load up a couple hundred rounds and noticed on my box of new bullets the BC had changed. My older boxes ha...

Not 204 but need suggestions.

I have a 1978 winchester mod 70 xtr varmint .243 win. This was my grandfather's rifle and was passed down to me several years ago. The rifle is in great condition and I would like to keep it original and continue to use it, but it is starting to show throat erosion. I have been reloading for it and ...

Bullet Seating ??

As my factory 204's seem to have alot of freebore I seem to find myself questioning my seating depth on a regular basis. On 2 of my CZ's it is impossible to seat the bullet out to the lands and still have enough bullet in the casing, max length that will fit in the magazine is 2.32" and book da...

Re: New 204 go factory or custom

Thanks for the help and ideas so far guys. I have decided to go the custom route, I have made several phone calls and done alot of re-search this week. Right now I'm leaning towards the PAC-NOR route having them do my barrel work and then sending it to a gunsmith I found in my area that will do my s...

New 204 go factory or custom

I am ready for my next 204, and just not sure which route to take. I have been eyeing a couple Factory rifles and also thinking about a build. I currently own several 204s including a Kimber 84M varmint, COOPER m21, DPMS LR204, Savage LPV, CZ527 varmint, I am very happy with what I have and all shoo...

39 gr. sierra and H4895

I want to load some 39 sierra blitzking using H4895 powder, sierra data shows 24.1starting and 26.5max. This data seems a little low to me, and I know there are several guys shooting around 27.5 gr. Just wondering if anyone here has any data on this load or if anyone is shooting this combination. I ...
