Re: just too bad
i don't believe so. the laws of shipping from america to canada are quite picky and after heavy duties and such not worth it. i'm still keeping my eye open at gunshows but i want to buy new. shotguns are fine used or a .22 but i wouldn't want to buy a used rifle as the previous owner may not have ta...

just too bad
unfortunately the cheapest rifle i can find in savage in .204 will cost me about $1000 up here in canada which is beyond my price range. i can get a stevens which is apparently a very good rifle for around $400 which i can afford but it isn't offered in .204. so it's to decide between .223 and .22-2...

high cap mags
hey guys i'm looking at getting an auto .22lr. which one would have the highest cap aftermarket magazines? in my area capacity doesn't matter in a rimfire and i want something in the range of 30+ round banana clip or something of that nature. i have an old crosman auto .22 but can't find mags for it...

Re: 25/06 bullet selection.
please humour me guys as i'm inexperienced with big game hunting with a rifle. here in ontario where i live it's all shotgun only for deer so anything i shoot with my .30 cal rifles is so small bullet selection does not matter. but the partitions and barnes tsx's are a premium controlled expansion b...

Re: What is going on??
what about the 45 gn hornady soft points? apparently they are still shorter than the 40 v-max. and anyone try the barnes varmint grenade? at 26 gn they've gotta move!

Re: new guy
thanks. i don't have all the equipment myself but my friend does and i do load my own rounds and i'm still working on getting everything besides just the dies. i load for my enfield, mosin nagant, and swedish mauser as those are my rifles. see why i want a varmint gun? a .223 is probably the more lo...

hey guys new to the forum here. i'm interested in getting a varmint gun so i can reach out farther than my .22 lr will allow! i'm aware this is a .204 ruger forum so i probably won't receive any bad views on the cartridge. it is my most serious consideration right now for which chambering to get. is...
