Re: Summer Shooting with the 204
All I know for sure is that this load in my remington is like a laser beam and the splat factor is OFF the scale!

Re: Summer Shooting with the 204
Interesting....these loads were worked up in the heat of last summer and had no issues. I am using the 205M's...have been for this gun from day 1 without a primer issue to date. And, I might add, have put loads through it that created a VERY sticky bolt as well. Very strange. Thanks for the warning.

Summer Shooting with the 204
Sadly where I live the prairie dog and ground hog do not dwell. We must content ourselves with skunks, badgers, crows, pigeons and various other vermin to pass our summer weekends. After much thought, debate and re-reading of reloading notes, I have settled on the following load for the summer: 26.0...

Re: Update on 8208 powder
I passed on a chance to get my hands on some of this stuff. After consulting my reloading notes from day 1 on what my remington likes to eat I came to the conclusion that another powder is going to make an already LONG good load list even longer! Spent all winter hunting with a load of 25.5 grains o...

Redding Type S Match Die Question and PROBLEM!!
Got these guys home today, tore them apart and cleaned them popped them in my press and was ready to get BUSY! Miracle of miracles.....the first case through the die gets stuck!?! This is not a big problem but what is of concern is I set up the seater as directed and it appears that I had to run it ...

Re: 17 Remington Project
Study some ballistics......with the kindler boatail bullets you might be surprised how little it is a 17 and how close it is to a 204!
