Re: 35gr berger bullets for 700 vls
I must say the same in that I thought all the loads where listed a little on the low side, but a good starting point. I use the loads listed from Hodgdon @ 28 grains of H4895. Shots fair!

Re: 35gr berger bullets for 700 vls
When I first started reloading I contacted Berger Bullets for load data, here it is- A copy of the Email reply from them for 35 grain bullets. Hi David, Some load data for the 35 and 40 grain bullets in your 0.204 Ruger. Load was generated using Quick Load and a 26 inch barrel and a COAL of 2.220 in...

Top of the page is .204 load data. IMR and Sierra both list loads. Although I have never used it.

Re: Three Savage Builds
Acloco, I was interested in “your†reasoning and intended use of a hundred plus year old improved cartridge as opposed to the other hotter 6.5s available. Was the cost of brass it? Keep use posted on the range results. Like the 204 the 6.5x55 seems to have great inherent accuracy and low...

Re: Three Savage Builds
Acloco, all very nice guns. I am newly interested in the 6.5x55 calibers, mainly for hunting. Thought it would be nice for an old caliber. Can't find any bad points with it. Never heard of 6.5x55AI for long range. Can you elaborate on this fine cartridge? 6.5x55 and 6.5x55AI.

Re: Developing long range loads.
Wow, I just started reloading last year and had not heard of sleeping bullets. My question was more about the process you use to develop the most accurate load for your rifle at say 400 yards. With the variables shooting longer ranges I thought I was missing the whole accuracy thing by not first sho...

Developing long range loads.
When developing long-range loads, is your best 100-yard load also the best load at 400 or 600 yards and vice versa is your best long-range load also best at 100 yards. Do you develop a most accurate load for specifically for a given range? If so please list some loads that are for long range. My 10-...

Re: Tell us about yourself...
Hello all, from West Virginia here! Great site. Bought a Remington XR-100 last year from a coworker after reading all positive replies on this site. I bought it as a family gun . It has exceeded all expectations even at longer ranges. I have not shot this gun less than 300 yards and we have won some...
