trigger question
Yo, If you don't have a, "crisp break", with your trigger how does it effect firing pin behavior? Can the accu-trigger be adjusted to decrease or eliminate, "creep"? It seems that at the end of my exhale, I'm a little ways off from the break of the trigger. Just practise I suppos...

Re: Explain Cratered primer
I experienced cratered primers once along with duds. :chin: :wall: I'm assuming the anvil in the primer isn't supporting the firing pin. I held a casing and looked at the primer pocket with a magnifing glass and noticed that the base of the pocket wasn't flat. Where the walls meet the base was curve...

Re: A really good load BUT......
I was told that the tighter a group at 100, the better, because it will start to spread out further down range. The only other thing I haven't done it check runout on bullets and cases.

Re: Chuckin' in P.A.
Why such a heavy bullet? Because a lighter bullet doesn't stabilize, in a 1:9 barrel, to 3/8's of an inch at 100. 87gr bullet for Deer hunting? There's a guy who lost a deer because he uses a 87 grain bullet. He approached the deer thought it was dead, turned around to fill out his tag, turned back ...

Re: A really good load BUT......
WW,
Without changing the barrell and action work.
The rifle shoots 3/8's of an inch @ 100 yards.
I suppose the best for a stock rifle.

Re: Chuckin' in P.A.
What dies are you using?
LEE collet
I also use forester neck turner.
Runout is about a thou and a half for bullet and case neck.
My not fired lapua brass isn't neck turned.
I normally use fired brass.
