Re: 204um Challenge info.......
If you don't mind me asking, what do you torque your action bolts too? I've been following my method and wouldn't mind doing it right for once! What I do is run the front bolt as tight as I trust it and run the rear about 1/2-1 turn past snug. Snug being tight with one finger. It's worked thus...

Re: The 204um Challenge Winner's Circle
Benchrest shooters sometimes shoot for groups but they also shoot for score. I was thinking of a way to combine the best of both. Maybe one shot at each of ten separate bullseyes and incorporate a group score in on top of that. We'll have to see what I can come up with. But, of course, you can bet ...

Re: 204um Challenge News
This is just a suggestion and it's not to take away from the winners but would it be a bad idea to consider an icon for all those who participated?

Re: 204um Challenge: Let the excuses begin!
No excuses here. Just didn't do the rifle justice. The funny part is after shooing the target I tried some new loads and found a new load that put 5 shots in one hole. How many of you think target panic has a role in shooting the target? +1! Didn't do my rifle ANY justice AT ALL! I think me shootin...

Re: New To The Forum
To answer your question about the barrel, there was a spot about 11 inches from the muzzle where the surface tension of a cleaning patch would suddenly/momentarily let go and then resume until it emerged. Don't have a bore scope, but you could see with the naked eye that something was not right. So...

Re: 17 HMR COYOTES DOUBLE STACKED
Great job! I really like my 17 hmr I wish I had gotten the wooden stock like yours it sure is a good looking rifle. I wondered if they would take a coyote or not I guess you answered that question. A double Wow! You can get a TH stock to replace your existing stock (if it's a Savage of course ;) )....

Re: 204um Challenge News
Did I say that enough times??? :loco: What was the name of that show where the guy said "Do you hear the words that are coming out of my mouth"? Was that The Master of Disguise? Wasn't it the movie "Rush Hour"? Or was there an actual show that I am just to young to know existed?...
