Re: What is this?

Wipe it down lightly with gun oil and 0000 steel wool. That should remove any surface rust. Dave

Oh well its always a blast to shoot in these. walleyeman Being consistent is the problem! On Saturday I shot ...

Re: 700 SPS Varmint vs. 12FV

My vote is for the Savage's as well. I have a VLP and a BTVSS (204's) and they were both under 1/2" at 100 yds right out of the box. My next dilemma is now I want another 204 but in a light weight version that will still be just as accurate as both of my 10 pound savage's. I've been looking at...

Re: Testing 38 gr Wildcat loads

I don't really want to sound too stupid but I'm fairly new to the 204. What is the 38 gr Wildcat and who makes it? :?

Re: How deep is to deep ???

I use the Sinclair with both 7 1/2's and CCI br-4's with Remington cases without any problems. I like the tool. Dave

Re: 700 SPS Varmint vs. 12FV

I'm a 700 guy. I just like the way the way they fit and feel to me but I respect the accuracy of the Savages. Right now I have three 700's with the new one in 204. You really can't go wrong with either one. If the Savage feels better then buy it. That's how I buy all my guns-especially shotguns. Dave

Re: best place for 35 grain bergers

I just ordered some from Midsouth. They're over a buck cheaper than Midway and a couple of bucks cheaper on the shipping-using the same carrier UPS Ground. Haven't found anyone that sells Bergers in 500 round lots. Dave

Bergers VS Dogtowns

I went out to the range early this morning. I was just kind of playing around and trying out some new loads. I had 35 grain Bergers, Dogtowns, and 39 Sierra BK's with me. This was the first time that I shot the BK's and that load definitely needs a little tweaking. Anyhow the groups are both 5 round...

Re: Tell us about yourself...

Dave here. I'm kind of an older guy but still having fun. I live in kind of SW Minnesota. Viet Nam Vet. When I was younger I hunted absolutely everything. I was a very avid fox hunter and got to very good at it. We don't seem to have much for fox around here anymore-I probably wouldn't shoot one any...
