Re: 204um Praire Dog Postal Shoot
I would like to participate. Never did a postal match before...have a few questions (it may seem like I didn't read this post, just trying to understand) 1. How do I get the targets mailed to me? 2. Are there separate targets for 100yard groups and 200 yards? 3. Since there are no spots to shoot at ...

Re: How about a 77 TG?
I owned a TG 204 for a few months. It shot well but was just too heavy for my needs not only for varmint shooting and bench shooting off bags. The CZ fits my needs perfectly as a good compromise on the bags and calling rifle/varmint shooting. It is also shoots a bit more accurately imo. Funny the me...

Re: Keyhole help!?!?
Despite all that has been said, I find I get better accuracy with a lightly fouled dry barrel with all my guns. To the best of my knowledge, match shooters always shoot at least a fouling shot or two before they compete.

Re: How to fine tune a load?
Nice shooting! Are you shooting for bench or hunting or both? I'd say your well within 1/3 MOA of prarie dog! If you really want to try to tweak a bit more I'd play with your seating depth in .005 increments in and out of where it kisses the lands as your starting point. Then, I might try different ...

Re: Muzzle Brake for 7mm WSM
Trade it on a good 30-06. (works great with a 150 for deer/antelope or 180 for elk/moose/bear and the deer/antelope)

Re: 204 Recoil
If you want to use your bipod instead of bags I've heard some guys use carpet under the rubber feet and claim it helps.

Re: 204 Recoil
This is just a suggestion. I would try shooting with bags under the front rather than a bipod off the bench. This should help give you a more solid hold on target without the "skip" affect of the bipod. This is the method I use anyways and save the bipod for sitting or prone shooting on th...

Re: 204 Recoil
What rifle are you shooting? A little weight always help keep the recoil down.
