Previous Poster: I find it is usually better to hang on to the scope whenever I sell a gun. You will get more for it by itself or have it to put on your next gun.

I have hunted woodcock (aka "timberdoodles") in PA and MI growing up. They are fun birds to hunt because they always hook left or right 90 degrees after flushing and that's when you crack them. They live in a lot of the same habitat as ruffed grouse which is another bird I enjoy hunting a ...

Remote Control PreyMaster
Do any of you have any experience using this call. It seems to be a really new product. I have been shopping around for a FoxPro and just came across this unit. Having trouble spending as much money as the cost of a decent rifle on a call...so I picked up a few more mouth calls in the meantime.

You may find that your 12 twist will shoot the 39 Blitzking well and undoubtedly the 35 Berger, which I am told is excellent on coyotes.

PS hagfan- I read some posts and see you don't yet have a 204 but are planning to get one. In the meantime, upon your return, you are welcome to shoot my 204,223, or 243 and I'll be happy to work with you on loading for your future biodegradable pop up target launcher.

My Encore barrel would consistantly shoot .75 inch groups and sometimes .5 or so groups with the 32 V-Max using H4895. Your barrel is a 12 twist and will probably shoot the 32 grainers best. Here's what works best in my CZ 527 Varminter: 32 V-Max 27.3 H322 WW Brass Fed 210M 2.325" OAL (about .015 shy of magazine OAL) *Consistantly puts 5 in .3s @ 100 yds I have another load that works well with the 40 Ballistic Tips with H335 but my notes/targets are at home. I will report this inf...
