Re: new .204 rifle choice?
thanks fellas.... I took a ride to BassPro today and handled both the Tikka and the Venture.. I like the Tikka T3 MUCH better than the Venture. It was smoother and fit me better.. They didn't have the CZ but Im almost 100% sold on the Tikka. Man I loved that gun.. I think I'm going to really enjoy i...

new .204 rifle choice?
hey guys, after using my encore for the last few years, I've decided to sell it and want to buy a bolt action gun.. Fumbling around with a single shot at night trying to reload is just a PIA.. Anyways, I can't decide between the Tikka t3, the T/C venture, or the CZ 527.. I keep going back and forth ...

35 gr berger update......
Well, last year I started loading berger 35 grainers and yesterday I shot my 16th coyote and NONE of them ran more than 40 yrds. Most DRT's.. Where I am, many of these coyotes are up in the mid to upper 40 lbs.. Anyone looking for a great coyote round, this one is no joke.. Much better than the fact...

FED. 205 vs. 205M
I just bought some 205's and was wondering if they are as good as the 205M's that I was previously using. Will it make a difference in my accuracy? The place I went to didn't have the 205M. Anyone use the regular 205 primers? thanks

Remingtons new R15
I was thinking about ordering this gun (in 204 of course) and was wondering if anyone has seen it in person or handled it. It would be my first AR and I think it will be a nice addition to my TC pro hunter in 204. Theres been some times when a quick follow up shot would have been nice. I still love ...

powder funnels for 204
I can't seem to find any funnels that will work for the 204. I was thinking about just making something up that will work. What are you guys using for funnels?

Re: Is case lenge of 1.85 o.k. to reload without trimming?
The reason I ask is that the 204 spec. sheet says 1.85" is the cartridge length and trim length is 1.84". I guess what they are trying to say that if you go over 1.85" that you need to trim back to 1.84". Does that sound about right? I pretty new to reloading and wasn't too sure....

All my once fired cases areound 1.85 or less and the data says trim to 1.84. Can I just reload them the way they are now without trimming? I'm new to reloading so I'm not too sure. Thanks

Which dies are recommended for loading up the 204. Should I get the FL sizing die and seater as well as neck sizer or just a FL sizing die. I was think maybe Redding or Lee dies. Also I heard H335 is good powder for the 204. I plan on loading 35 grain berger for coyote hunting! Thanks guys for any h...
