Re: My Daughters Birthday Present
Great minds think alike
I used a paint pen in the barrel channel to put Love Mom and Dad with her birth date following. Thanks for the idea though.

My Daughters Birthday Present
My Daughter who is turning 9 next month loves the outdoors and shooting. I planned to go in with my folks and we were going to get her a .22LR for this up coming squirrel season. Dad mentioned he had his .22 that he would give her which has some sentimental value as my Mom bought it for him when the...

Kudos for Brunton Optics
My wife bought me a pair of Brunton Eterna binoculars almost nine years ago and I have hunted with them hard sense then. Near the end of 2008 the right prism fell and was rattling in the housing so I contacted Brunton and asked about repair. They stated the Eterna has a life time warranty and to jus...

Re: Lookie what we found this morning
We only took a few. My buddy is over 6' tall to give some perspective. One of the bigger females we have found in the past 10 years.

Lookie what we found this morning
We shot this female this morning in the far far north of California. It was windy and we did not have very high expectations. About 25min into the stand I hear my buddy rustling on the other side of the tree. As I looked over my shoulder I saw the cat sitting about 40 yards away looking to the direc...

Swapping my Savage barrel for a .204
How many of you here are using the .204 Ruger as a calling caliber? I am a little tired of the weight of my 26" heavy barrel that came with my Savage 12FV and am looking to re barrel. The rifle is barreled for a .223 now shoots very well, so I have been hesitant to do anything with it. I contac...
