I talked to Mike this morning and ordered bore guides for a few of my rifles. I like the dewey rods, I may order them today. I wonder if Bass pro or Gander mountain would have them in stock

will do. I found some cleaning kits for the .204 I am going to pick one up tomorrow. I will wait for my bore guide to clean it though

Thats why it got stucknzs204 wrote:you need a .20 cal cleaning kit. a .22 kit will not work. they are different.

the kit said it was for 22 cal should I use a 17?? I just e-mailed about the bore guide. I am not going to use the rifle again until I get a good cleaning set up

I bought a cleaning kit that my gun shop told me would work on my .204 barrel. I went to run the copper brush down the barrel and got about 1.5 inches in the barrel and realized it was too tight. Rather the jamming it down the barrel, I backed it out.....did I mess up anything? Do you guys have a cl...

thanks guys....great forum btw Yes, the fluting is black..it looks really cool in person yeah, I took it out for the first time and shot a box of 32 grain Hornady and a half box of 40 grain Hornady though it. At 50 yards I was shooting clovers, at 100 yards I could group about 1 inch and at 200 yard...
