Re: Leupold "Olympic" binoculars
Thanks a lot! I thought they were good and I think your endorsement will just be the push I needed to go ahead and buy them.

Leupold "Olympic" binoculars
What do you guys think of the Leupold Wind River "Olympic" binoculars? I know the "Cascades" are lower priced/quality and I know Leupold makes better/more expensive models. But are the Olympics very good? I was thinking about either the 8X42 or the 10X50. I am leaning toward the ...

Re: Wyoming mulie
Looks like a really nice buck. You did not say but is he a 4X4 or is it bigger?
I know you can't eat the antlers but everyone loves to know how many points.
Again congratulations!

Re: Just had a .204 "failure"
I was not blaming the V-Max bullet in my opinion they work great! You did notice I hope that I put failure in my threat title in quotations. I know it was a combination of shot placement and my fault for not following up with another round right away. Coyotes tend to die quickly if you hit them in t...

Re: Just had a .204 "failure"
Well seeing how he was running away from me I guess I should have held on his nose instead of between the shoulder blades. I hate to see them suffer also but I do like to whack em!
I will endeavor to do better next time.

Shot a few squirrels Saturday on the world famous Tejon Ranc
A friend has a membership and was hunting for a quality Buck or pig. I was along trying to help in anyway I could. He does not have a 4WD vehicle so I was driving. His membership allows guests to varmint hunt also. We spotted a coyote in the first 5 minutes and he missed a running shot. 5 minutes la...

Just had a .204 "failure"
Well it had to happen sooner or later. I have been loading the Hornady V-Max 40 grain bullets on top of 25.6 grains of AA 2230. Shoots great and I am sure it is fast although I have not chrono'd it yet. So today I spot a coyote and he takes off running uphill. I put the crosshairs on him and squeeze...
