Re: calhoon bullets

I bought some at the Tulsa Gun Show from HSSM and I don't know about them yet. It's a great concept and if it does what they say it will blow up in impact and if you fur they might be worth trying, if you're getting good groups. There will be no exit hole. I don't think it would exit a squirrel. Aga...

Re: What would cause this

Personally I think that is fairly good for Dogtown bullets. If you upgrade to a better bullet, like from lower grade to higher. Start with Hornady. I have great luck with them. Then you have a tie (in my opinion) between SIerra Blitzking and Bergers. I don't repeat don't like Barnes but a good one I...

It depends one the rifle, the bullets and the shooter. I like both of them.

Re: open reed call protection

You can also buy some rubber bands like they make for braces for teeth and put one on the end. Also get a nice shotgun plastic reload box and if it's not to long you can put 25 to 50 in one box.

Re: Greetings from Iraq

:D Sir. I am new here and I will tell you what I tell every soldier I see when I see him or her, wherever I am. I think Bush is an a$$. I respect every man or woman that puts his or her life on the line for this country. I feel fortunate to be able to lay my head down and know that I am in the USA, ...

Re: Powder for AR in .204

Try some Tac powder. It was designed for the AR and is faster then some and is $5.00 a pound cheaper. It's put out by Ramshot.

Re: Shepherd Scopes

I have 2 of them, the large and the small one I don't have one mounted because I have so many scopes. They are awesome. You can shoot any size bullet you just have to try and get a certain speed. I hade several more but sold a couple of them to a guy for $400.00.

Re: RCBS Plastic Loading Funnel

WHISTLEPIG That is a really good deal. Static electricity can kill a computer in a heartbeat and scales are based on the same electronics. If you will get a wash towel and put a sheet or two dryer sheets on it and fold it in half and put your scales on it, or a paper towel and leave it and just move...

Re: RCBS Plastic Loading Funnel

dryer sheets are great. I usually put on in a wash rag and that way your funnel and machine is good and if you have carpet drop the sheet on the floor and move it around to cut static out of your area. :D

Re: RCBS Plastic Loading Funnel

you can also get some shrink tube like you put on screwdrivers and such and get the smallest funnel you have and slip the tube iver it and shrink it to fit and the bottom you can go as far as you need. If you have any problem with it coming off the funnel just a drop of super glue and there you go. ...

Re: Hey guys I am new here.

Hey guys I got a hold of Walt and I figured out what I was doing, or what I wasn't doing. I had to lower the die because it wasn't seating enough to close the neck up. Between you and Walt we got it working. Thanks Skipper, hawkeyejoe, wizwaldo and Oldturtle. I appreciate you guys. :D :D :D :D :) :)...

Re: Hey guys I am new here.

Thanks guys. I reloaded for 25 years but I never got into the real precision and that's what I want is accuracy. What die is a really good one to buy. Do I need to get one that has the dial on the top of it, the $80.00 job. I don't know as much as I thought I did. I have a terminal disease and so I ...

Re: Hey guys I am new here.

I just have the regular RCBS 2-die set. If it's not a problem I could use a description of what kind of die I need. heck I have reloaded 44 mags, 22 hornet, 22-250, 223, and 308s. I have always just used the standard die set. Do I need the expensive die. I hope it's not to high. I am on SS disabilit...
