i have used the 33 calhoons on turtles and sparows Thats my kinda varmint huntin'. Don't forget about starlings and pigeons. I just tuned my Encore trigger to 2 1/2 lbs. Thanks to a Bellm spring. When I was in the Scheel's store in Billings, MT this past summer, they had some of the Tikka T3 Varmint rifles in stock and one of them was in .204 Ruger. The salesperson said that Scheel's was the exclusive distributor of these in the US. I don't know if he was telling the truth or not, but I did...

Actually I should have said a .20 VarTarg case. The bullets fit tighter and still leave room for the extra primers.rpbill wrote:The trick is to use 221 Fireball brass. It leaves room for the extra primers.

I finaly got some loads ready for my Encore Pro Hunter. I loaded some 40 gr. V-Max with BLC-2 and RL10x. (No, not in the same case :shock: ) For primers I used CCIBR4, WSR, Federal 205M and Rem 7 1/2. It's supposed to be nice this weekend, maybe I'll get to do some shooting. http://i43.photobucket.c...
